Santa Fe, NM – The Museum of Indian Arts & Culture (MIAC) is proud to announce the launch of its Native Dance Series, a celebration of the rich and diverse dance traditions of Native American communities. This series aims to honor and preserve the cultural heritage of indigenous peoples through vibrant and dynamic dance performances. 

Event Details: 

Dates: Sunday June 2, Black Eagle Dance Group (Pueblo of Jemez) 

Sunday, July 7, Tesuque Pueblo Dance Group 

Saturday and Sunday, August 3-4, Third Annual Nakota LaRance Youth Hoop Dance Championship 

Sunday, September 1, Oak Canyon Dancers (Pueblo of Jemez) 

Saturday, September 21, Extravaganza on the Hill Dances, music and more throughout the day 

Sunday, October 6, White Mountain Apache Crown Dancers 

Location: Museum of Indian Arts & Culture 710 Camino Lejo in the Milner Plaza performance circle 

Performance Times: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Museum admission is free for New Mexico residents the first Sunday of the month. The Native Dance Series is part of MIAC’s ongoing commitment to celebrating and preserving Native American Culture. This event offers a unique opportunity for the public to engage with and appreciate the living traditions of Indigenous communities.
