A newly re-edited and re-released version of the acclaimed feature documentary First We Bombed New Mexico, focuses on Hispanic cancer survivor and businesswoman Tina Cordova, who catalyzed a movement for justice and fought for compensation for families suffering multigenerational health impacts from the bomb. This new updated version shares the extraordinary victory of the many years battling the US government for their community’s radiation exposure resulting from the testing of the Trinity Bomb in 1945.
Screenings at 11AM and 2PM, with a panel discussion after the 2PM screening.
